Beecher Hills Elementary is a Pre-Kindergarten through fifth grade elementary school located in the scenic Beecher Hills Community in Southwest Atlanta, Georgia. Beecher Hills is a part of School Reform Team 1 of the Atlanta Public School System. Beecher Hills Elementary School was erected in 1958 during the tenure of Superintendent Dr. Ira Jarrell. The school was built to accommodate 500 students in grades K-7. In the 1980’s, the organization of Beecher Hills was changed from K-7 to K-5. The original building has now been expanded to include clusters for upper and lower grades.
