Anita Ragland is originally from Detroit, Michigan and relocated to Georgia in 1992. She received her Master's from Clark Atlanta University (Counseling) in 1997 and her Ed.S from Troy State University (School Counseling) in 1999. She is new to Atlanta Public School system but not to education, Mrs. Ragland taught high school for 5 years in Fulton County and has been a guidance counselor since 1997 also in Fulton County. Her passion has always been to empower youth and show them the opportunities that awaits them. Mrs. Ragland has been married for 15 years and has a 2 middle school aged children.
