Parents can check to see if students are completing assignments by securing student's name and password from the student and logging on weekly to check the student's status.
If you have been at Young Middle School this year you have seen a great difference in the flow of transition, student uniform compliance, and behavior overall. His "Know Your Role" Mantra asks that everyone be accountable.
The issues of bullying, conflict management, healthy lifestyles, etc. are common struggles regardless of nationality. At JCY, we have reinforced the STEPS conflict management module from the Bullying workshop presented at the school. The Malawi youth will also receive the same presentations that JCY students experienced. We will give a more detailed understanding of their common struggles during the “Week of Understanding” while pointing out third world hardships.
